This Privacy Policy explains how illu creative house handles personal data when you visit www.illucreativehouse.com or contact us. illu creative house is part of PT Kawan Cipta Karya, which acts as the data controller: it decides why and how your personal data is processed.

Personal data we collect

We collect only what we need to reply to you and to run our website.

• Data you give us. Our contact form asks for your name, email address and message, and optionally your WhatsApp number and company or brand. Depending on what you are looking for, it also asks about your project: project type, shoot location, shoot dates and the services you need. We also keep what you send us by email, WhatsApp or social media message.

• Data collected automatically. When you browse the site, our website platform (Wix) and Google Analytics collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the site that referred you and your approximate location (city or country). See Cookies below.

• Data from embedded content. Pages that show YouTube videos or a Google Map load that content from Google, which may collect data about your visit.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as health, financial or biometric information. Please do not include it in your message.

How we use personal data

We use personal data only for the purposes below. We do not sell it, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

• Reply to your inquiry and prepare a proposal or quotation. Data: contact and project details, messages. Basis: steps you ask for before a contract, and your consent when you send the form.

• Plan and deliver a production you hire us for. Data: contact details, project details, messages. Basis: performance of our contract with you or your company.

• Understand how the site is used and improve it. Data: technical and analytics data. Basis: our legitimate interest in running a useful website, or your consent where we ask for it in a cookie banner.

• Keep the site and our systems secure. Data: technical data. Basis: our legitimate interest.

• Meet tax, accounting and other legal duties. Data: records linked to projects and invoices. Basis: legal obligation.

These bases come from Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our site uses three kinds.

• Essential (Wix, our website platform). They keep the site working and secure, for example loading pages and protecting forms. The site needs them, so they cannot be turned off.

• Analytics (Google Analytics 4). They count visits and show which pages are used. You can turn them off.

• Embedded content (YouTube and Google Maps). They play our videos and show our map; Google may set its own cookies. You can block third-party cookies or not play the content.

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. To stop Google Analytics on every site, use Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Who we share personal data with

We share personal data only when a purpose above needs it, and we never sell or rent it.

• Service providers that run our tools: Wix.com (website, forms and contact records), Google (Analytics, Gmail, YouTube and Maps) and WhatsApp when you message us. They handle data under their own terms and security measures.

• Production partners such as freelance crew or post-production specialists receive only the project details they need to work on your production.

• Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality.

• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Transfers outside Indonesia

Some of our service providers, including Wix and Google, store or process data on servers outside Indonesia. We use providers whose data protection standards are equal to or higher than those required under Indonesian law, or that offer adequate and binding safeguards. Where neither applies, we ask for your consent first.

How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it, then delete or anonymise it.

​

• Inquiries that do not become a project: up to 24 months after our last contact.

• Project and client records: for the length of the project, then as long as Indonesian tax and accounting rules require.

• Analytics data: event-level data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months, under our Google Analytics settings. Aggregated reports that do not identify you may be kept longer.

Your rights

Under Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and why;

• give you access to, or a copy of, your personal data;

• correct or complete data that is inaccurate or incomplete;

• stop processing, delete or destroy your personal data;

• withdraw a consent you gave, without affecting processing done before;

• delay or limit processing in certain cases;

• send your data to you, or to another organisation, in a commonly used format.

To use these rights, email illucreativehouse@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law requires. You may also complain to the competent authority in Indonesia.

Other information

• Children. Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you think a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.

• Links to other sites. Our site links to WhatsApp, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and other sites. Their own privacy policies apply when you use them.

• Changes to this policy. We may update this policy; the date at the top of this page shows the current version.
